Gunnar Andreas Berg is a well established composer and guitar player based in Orkanger in Trøndelag county. He formed his first trio in the late 70’s and has recorder a number of album with his own material. The last couple of years he is back on the music scene with a new trio, completed with two old buddies, Morten Huuse on keys and Tor Haugerud on drums, who share Gunnar ‘s musical point of view. The trio will record some of the knew compositions, and some old as well, in this spring, and play some gigs afterwords. The trio is playing music inspired by the -70’s expressions with some influences from the Norwegian guitarist Terje Rypdal and US Jeff Beck, among others.
